Have you ever wanted to create your own set of ODST armour? Or maybe you want to take the realism up a notch from your EVA foam armour! Maybe you have been 3D printing for a while, and get great satisfaction from multipart prints!

This might be the bundle for you!

This project had a few main criteria.

– Mobility. (The suit shouldn’t hinder the movement of the wearer unreasonably.)
– Accuracy. (The suit should be as close to the source material as possible.)
– Modularity. (The suit should be modular where possible to allow parts to be swapped.))
– Easy to clean up. (The suit should be as easy to process as possible once printed)
– Printable. (The parts should be able to be made on my Artillery Sidewinder 3D printer)

Features of these files include:

– A built-in wallet design that can hold cards (just below the chest plate)
– The cleanup process has genuinely been considered! The multipart design minimizes awkward corners to sand
– Hardpoints for modular elements. (See shoulders, thighs, chest plate)

I have really enjoyed the process of making my one, and hopefully, my work can jumpstart your journey!

I hope to start working on different upgrade packs and modules for this suit in the next few months, so stay tuned if you are enjoying my work!

a few final notes:

– This suit is fairly challenging to build!
– The suit is sealed to a slim/athletic person about 180cm tall. within. a few cm, not much scaling will be required, but if you are significantly taller/smaller, pe prepared to do some scaling.
– Because of the project criteria listed above, some of the parts are a little awkward to print. Custom supports are your friend when printing!
– These files were designed for my Artillery Sidewinder 3D printer, with a bed size of 30x30x40. Most of the parts will still fit on a smaller printer, but some will need to be sliced smaller using a program like Meshmixer.
– This package does NOT include in-depth sewing patterns (sewing is not an area I pretend to be an expert in), but the booklet included includes a visual breakdown of how I created my own patterns for sewing.
– The way you connect together the armour parts is not set in stone. You can copy my methods seen in the booklet, or you can come up with new and improved ways. It’s up to you!

Happy Crafting!
